· UGT1A1-MAMAPCR real time complete kit 25 tests BM-012
The UGT1A1- MAMA PCR real time BM-012 is a research use only (RUO) assay for the detection of the mutation at nucleotide 211 (G211A) that causes glycine to be replaced by arginine at position 71 in the coding region of the UGT1A1 gene. This substitution is associated to Gilbert’s syndrome, which is a mild disorder that occurs in up to 8% of the population. In affected individuals, bilirubin in the blood reaches higher than normal levels. The mutation at nucleotide 211 (G211A) of UGT1A1 gene is responsible for approximately 20% of Gilbert’s syndrome cases in Asian subjects.
User friendly and complete, the UGT1A1- MAMA PCR real time BM-012 is suitable for any laboratory.
