One Step RT-PCR Real Time Three Targets

SARS-CoV-2 Two Genes is a real-time RT-PCR test intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid from the SARS-CoV-2, through reverse Transcription and Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction from RNA extracted from Respiratory specimens
(nasopharyngeal swabs).

One Step Reverse Transcription Real Time polymerase chain reaction is used to confirm the presence of COVID19 by amplification of three targets: one set of primer/probe to amplify RdRp (RNA-dependent RNA polymerase) and two sets of primer/probe to amplify regions of the virus nucleocapsid (N) gene. The kit also provides an internal cellularity control to evaluate the suitability of the biological sample. High diagnostic sensitivity and specificity, diagnostic efficiency also on the new variants (English B.1.1.7 lineage and South African Lineage B.1.351). SARS-CoV-2 Two genes is a NAT (Nucleic Acid Test) currently recommended for the DIAGNOSIS of COVID-19 from: World Health Organization (WHO) and European Center for Prevention and the Disease Control (ECDC). This product is an in vitro diagnostics (CE-IVD) and is used by professionals in hospitals and laboratories. Positive results are indicative of active infection with SARS-Cov-2 but do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses.
Compatible with all the main real time PCR platforms (ThermoFisher 7500 Real Time PCR System and CFX96 Bio-rad PCR Detection System), after extraction it provides results in less than 80 minutes.
